Master programming in C++

In my career, I trained many developers to reach proficiency in programming (especially in C++ & C#). From a student fresh out of school to a programmers with 10+ years experience, both can benefit from the same approach to programming.

People learn differently, some prefer to read books, I simply prefer to have 1 on 1 programming sessions and ask questions as we go to force reflection. In this setup, pair programming really makes sense. But, since teaching people that way is simply possible on a large scale, a DVD seemed like the best compromize to provide in context learning.

DVD

When you buy my DVD, you buy 4 hours of high quality video-based training explaining my method and original approach to programming.

For information, the courses are made on Windows, Visual Studio express edition but the method is not bound to a particular OS/IDE.

The DVD contains 3 main sections:

  1. How to approach programming
    1. Simplifying problems
    2. Determining scope
    3. Responsabilities
    4. Designing interfaces
  2. Improve your efficientcy, and write sustainable quality code
  3. Real world examples

After this video you will:

  • Approach programming problems from a different angle that will serve you in other languages too (e.g. C#)
  • Increase your value in corporate environment as it will put you in the top 5% efficient programmers.
  • Code faster, better code, maintainable and reusable, understand why some patterns leads to bad code in the long term.
  • Be able to train other people with the same concepts/methodes
